Blacken and Sauteed Drum

The North Carolina Outer Banks is one of my favorite retreats and offers a great getaway to relax and of course fish. I like the Town of Corolla as they are dog friendly.  To get to Corolla, you have to take a two lane road through the towns of Southern Shores and Duck to get there.  Even though there are many good places to eat,  I decided to get up early and catch my breakfast. My four-legged best friend was up and ready.

5:00 AM – Heading out to see the sunrise and spend some quiet time surf fishing for breakfast

5:15 AM – Fish were cooperative this morning.

5:40 AM – Sauteing

6:00 AM – Breakfast is served.
